MAISONNER, Chapelle des Calvairiennes, Mayenne, 2015
The Maisonner exhibition was built around the idea of inhabiting the extraordinary space of the chapel by proposing the creation of a furniture set.
Inspired by the sequence of frames present in the place such as the floor, the wrought iron gate or the stained glass windows, the different rooms are made from the same materials present on the site, in particular terracotta and chestnut.
A suite of screen furniture that redefines the chapel through a series of modular grids materialized by solids and voids while also playing with color variations and gradations.
A device that generates a physical vibration confusing the links between public and domestic space for an exhibition oscillating between installation, furniture and decor.
Simultaneous edition of a screen-printed wallpaper, additional frame, at the School of Plastic Arts in Mayenne.
