LE PARFUM « VOYAGE À NANTES »

Le Voyage à Nantes wanted to offer the city a perfume that would represent it. An artistic and olfactory experience to which three creators, Mélanie Leroux, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato and Bertrand Duchaufour were invited. They each composed a fragrance like a portrait of Nantes that the public was able to discover during the summer of 2021 within a scenography that we imagined. Each visitor could choose the one he preferred or which seemed to him the most evocative of the city and it was Bertrand Duchaufour’s composition that received the most votes.

THE PERFUME BOTTLE « VOYAGE À NANTES »

We were invited to design, in addition to the scenography, a bottle in the image of the City of the Dukes as it is also called. Sensitive interpretation of a city of water for us, crossed by the Erdre and the Loire that we see every day on the way to the workshop. But it is also the rain, the fog, the Estuary and the perceptible movement to the heart of the city of the rising and falling tides.

It is all this that we wanted to evoke through this bottle, a unique and powerful experience in our journey: We think back in particular and with emotion to this day in Normandy, in the Pochet glassworks, where we were able to observe its manufacture…
